Denver Nugget Enemies

This list is comprised of enemies of the Nuggets State. In lesser, more un-ethical times they would be rounded up, caged and interned for a period of unmentionable time. This list is not finite. This list is mearly a guide.

Enemies of Nuggets Nation:

Sam Cassell

Sam CassellThere are "nugget killers" and then there are "ultimate nugget killers". Sam I Am has been vying for that position for years. Either with the Timberpuffs or the Clippers, whenever a big shot was needed against the Nuggets, Sam was there to bury his stake deep into the hearts of Nugget fans everywhere. Ever the savvy, veteran personality, it is hard for many people outside of Nuggetland to carry a grudge against Sammy. To be honest with you, he is pretty easy to respect, the guy has been around and been a solid pro every step of the way. It is just that we will be able to get better sleep at night when Sam finally hangs 'um up. After his playing days are over, look for him to torture Nugget fans as an opposing head coach.

Steve Javy

He's always been sort a thorn in our sides. But his enemy ranking rose sharply after the Nuggets acquired Allen Iverson. Has Steve held a personal grudge against Iverson since A.I. entered the league? Hmmm. The NBA says no. We say maybe. Iverson says definitely. Don't expect Steve and Allen to kiss and make up any time soon. Steve will keep abusing his technical foul whistle at the same suicidal rate that he uses up the brill cream supply to plaster back the oil slick he calls a hair-do.

Tyrus Thomas

How could have Tyrus have already made our list in such a young playing career. Remember the Alamo? Well apply that same rallying principle to 'Remember March 22, 2007!' The bafoon-like expression on Tyrus' face after his last second tip-in that buried the Nuggets win was enough to make any Nugget fan loose their lunch. Combine that with his comments prior to his appearance in the 2007 NBA Slam Dunk Contest and you have the recipe of a hater. We feel Tyrus is a hater. So we must hate back. Sorry folks, we are pretty shallow people when it comes to the treatment of Nugget-Killers. Also, we hear he hits new-born puppies in the jaw for sport and laughter. We love puppies. We don't care for Tyrus.

Bernie Bickerstaff

If there is a better candidate for this list, I sure have never heard of him. This guy was aweful. When he let Dikembe escape without getting anything in return, my tolerance for this guy was up. I know its never a good thing to teach hate. But all my 3 children are being raised to loathe this man. Much like a Tar Heel hates a Blue Devil. In my household Bernie Bickerstaff's name is only used as a replacement for the word Mo#$@! Fu#%^?

Well I know this is already on the list, but no single person is more responsible for making the Nuggets suck so bad for so many years. We had a team in '94 that should have been held together at all costs. They would have eventually won it all I'm sure. But no, Bernie F---ing Bickerstaff had to ruin it all. The man is probably the one person that I can say I absolutly HATE!

Manu Ginobili

No Need for any explanation, whatsoever. Manu Ginobili

Earl Boykins

He singlehandedly won about 3 games for the Nuggets... and singlehandedly lost about 50.

Charles Barkley

Charles is someone who just hates the Nuggets even if we play good and lead, Charles will still bash our defense, even when we are blowing out the other team. Charles Barkley hates us. We could trade for Duncan, Shaq, Magic and Michael Jordan in their primes and he'd still question if the team is good enough to win a title. Yet he still loves the Suns even though their D sucks. Something ain't right.

Bill Walton

Everytime he announces a game he never has anything good to say about the nuggets.. and he bashes carmelo durning games that it makes me watch them on mute.

Millions of dollars and a chance to play a game for a living were not enough to motivate this jerk to play when his coach asked him to. Sure he was here when our team was garbage but how he treated the Nuggets fans permanetley made him garbage. Beyond that I considered him always to be a bust. He was terribly overrated when he was brough in and I was sad to see a punk like this win an NBA Championship

Reverred enemy of the people...

Karl Malone   John Stockton

How can you have a list of Nuggets enemies without these 2 at the very top? Years of uncalled elbows, flopping, constant whining, and the most annoying home court reffing ever.

Nick Van Exel

We gave this guy a shot at having his own team which is what he always said he wanted. He was supposed to come in and turn around the Nuggs. What does he do, he complains the whole time he is here about how bad the team is and finally after all his B.S. he demands a trade, and when we accomidate him, he trash talks the whole time on his way out. Way to be classy.

Tariq Abdul-Wahad

We give away Chauncey Billups and Ron Mercer for this alleged sharp-shooter. Several stints on the injured list, very few points scored, and MILLIONS of dollars later, we sent him on his way to Dallas as part of the Nick Van Exel trade. WHAT A BUST!

San Antonio Spurs

These guys are not only the enemies of the Nuggets, they are the enemies of Basketball. They have so many floppin, complainin, foreign, Euro-Garbage players that think they are Gods gift to basketball. None of them ever commits a foul, their head coach is allowed to just ride the refs all game long while Coach Karl gets T'd up on his home court in the playoffs for being outside of the coaches box without even saying a word. I just don't understand how the Spurs are the Uber-team in the NBA. Its a sad sad day when kids gorw up thinking that Manu Ginobli is a great role model because he plays ball the right way. It's just ridiculous beyond words.

George Karl

He acts like he cares in front of the Press then when you enter the Pepsi Center and Chant the Nuggets on.... Where is he SLEEPING on the bench hoping for either Every one to attack the paint, or praying for the shots to go in... To me it seems like he doesn’t care and he coached the Sonics in the 94' Battle of the #1 v.s. #8... Which the Nuggets went on to embarrass them. So he automatically hates us for that. So why bring him in to hurt the team that hurt him so bad with the best team he has ever had....? NO CLUE!
