Battered and Splattered

Lineup changes, lack of dicipline bring about Nuggets 127-99 blowout loss in L.A.

The Nuggets looked completely flat last night in a disgusting display of amateurism that ended in a 127-99 disgrace at the Staples Center. What was a seemingly decent start to the season, has turned into a murky ses pool of questions regarding the professionalism of this ball club. Just when you had got enough last night, when we finally got filled with an unwavering dosage of Luke Walton highlights, we get the added bonus of seeing Carmelo Anthony, the supposed leader of this team, act like a nine year old, school-house bully and get kicked out of the game. Fantastic Melo - Its good to know you've turned the corner on the whole maturity thing. George Karl, like it or not, sent a message to Allen Iverson by sitting his struggling guard for the entire four quarter. In other words, when things seemingly could get no uglier, they managed to do just that. The Nuggets will have every opportunity to forget all about last night, as soon as possible, as they prepare to face off against the other Los Angeles team, 8:30 pm tonight vs. Clippers.
